Vienna City Sound Challenge 2024 winner is Michael Bauer!

The Music Education student wins this prize in his first semester at JAM MUSIC LAB. win a recording of a song, including a music video, at Vienna City Cound.

We are happy to announce the new winner of the Vienna City Sound Challenge 2024: It is student Michael Bauer and his band CUPIDITAS. Michael is a student at JAM MUSIC LAB in the music education department. CUPIDITAS are known for passionate live performances and lyrics with deep messages. Their musical spectrum is in alternative rock, infused with punk and other influences from the broad realm of rock music. They have reached several milestones in their still relatively young career. For example, they secured third place in the Planet Festival Tour. Last autumn, they toured Germany with Austria’s rising stars, LEFTOVERS.

Currently, they are working diligently on their first EP, with songs to be released gradually over the coming year. One of the tracks, Bedsheets, has already been released. With this outstanding title, the band also won the recording session at the Vienna City Sound Challenge.
