Johannes Steiner presents lecture on music didactics at University of Innsbruck conference

JMLU lecturer Johannes Steiner is giving a lecture at the Uni Innsbruck's conference "Formal Education in a Pluralistic Society" on the topic: "Considerations for a Didactics of Classroom Music-Making Based on Hartmut Rosa's Resonance Theory."

The lecture explores Hartmut Rosa's resonance theory in the context of aesthetic learning and musical creative processes in the classroom, as well as its implications for music didactics. The theory demonstrates how resonant connections between individual experiences and the external world arise when learners engage in a deep emotional dialogue with music. Time and reflection play a central role in these processes. The goal is to analyze the dynamics of these processes to better promote and understand aesthetic learning.
