JAZZ MASTER TRACKS: Danny Grissett featured in new play-along app
JAM lecturer and pianist Danny Grissett is featured on the first album edition of the new app "Jazz Master Tracks".
Together with musicians Tony Lakatos, Alex Sipiagin, Hans Glawischnig and Bruno Castellucci, the performances of pieces such as Cedar Walton's "Bolivia" and Toots Thieleman's "Bluesette" serve as play-along tracks whose individual parts can be modified. Through the included transcriptions and analyses, the musical contexts can be viewed in detail and the content can be consumed collectively in an app. The first album edition, which also features JAM lecturer Danny Grissett on piano, was released in December - numerous new pieces are already being planned.
