Jazz Encounters with JMLU Professor Monika Herzig and Dean Michael Kahr

The eighth Rhythm Changes Conference, Jazz Encounters, took place at the Institute for Jazz Research (University of Music and Performing Arts, Graz) from 3 to 6 April 2024. This conference was organized in conjunction with the fourteenth International Jazz Research Conference. Jam Music Lab Professor of Artistic Research presented Monika Herzig her research on the Jazz Road grants and US Arts Funding.  Together with Dean of Music, Michael Kahr, they also participated in the collaborative book launch presenting their co-edited volume The Routledge Companion to Jazz and Gender.
