JAM MUSIC LAB and Vienna City Sound Cooperation: Recording Days

Vienna City Sound is one of the leading music production studios in Vienna and offers first-class facilities for recording & mixing as well as for multi-media formats such as studio sessions, streaming, web-casts etc. 

The cooperation aims to provide our university musicians with a practical insight into modern studio technology and workflows.

During a recording day, artists can record one or two of their own pieces and create a professional mix together with a mixing engineer.

In this way, our university musicians gain studio experience and receive a high-quality studio recording as their business card.

The conditions for students are 300 € (+ 20% VAT). Students can take advantage of this offer once per semester.  Availability and dates depend on the utilization of the studio capacities and should be requested 4 weeks in advance.
An ensemble can currently comprise a maximum of 6 musicians.

Optionally, a live video in the style of common studio sessions can be recorded. The musicians receive a finished professional You-Tube video. The surcharge for this is another 300 € (+ 20% VAT).
