Music in the Woods – media music workshops in Lower Austria: Apply now!

From September 19 to 22, 2024, “Music in the Woods” at the Juster Bühnenwirtshaus in Waldviertel will offer four days of exciting workshops in the field of media music. Apply now and receive a full scholarship including free participation, accommodation (shared rooms, two persons per room), full board and drinks.

Among the lecturers are renowned personalities such as Michael Klimas, producer and singer of Söhne Mannheims; Oliver Schmellenkamp, producer in the field of film and games music and head of the media music department at JAM MUSIC LAB Private University; the renowned Hollywood composer Adam Lukas, Thomas Rabitsch (ORF and Falco band member) and many others. After this workshop three participants will be awarded. They can win further workshops and meetings with renowned Austrian composers in Austria and abroad.

  • (Artistic) CV
  • Motivation letter: This should outline your goals and interests in “Music in the Woods”
  • Project proposal documents: Depending on the project, these can be audio or video recordings (formats: mp3, m4a, imov, etc.), as well as scores, work, and concept descriptions. It's important that the project is comprehensible and feasible based on these materials.
