Charity Concert of Carl Bechstein Foundation: Abdel Rahman El Bacha "Fantasien" I March 22, Vienna

The proceeds from ticket sales and all other donations will benefit the Friends of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra of the National Conservatory.

The pianist's wide-ranging repertoire is based primarily on the works of Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Ravel, and Prokofiev, and includes some sixty concertos.

The program of the concert which will take place at Palais Ehrbar in Vienna's 4th district contains the following:

• Ludwig van Beethoven: Fantasie g-Moll op. 77
• Frédéric Chopin: Fantasie f-Moll op. 49
• Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy: Fantasie fis-Moll op. 28
• Manuel de Falla: Fantasia Baetica
• Mili Balakirev: Orientalische Fantasie "Islamey"
